Paying online
If you would like to pay your bill online, you can pay CHEO through your online banking or by credit card. Please note we do not accept Interac e-Transfer.
Online banking
If you bank with any of the following institutions and have access to online banking, you can pay your CHEO bill online.
- RBC
- TD
- Scotiabank
- Bank of Montreal
- CIBC
- National Bank
- Desjardins
Make sure to add CHEO as a payee for online bill payment.
Credit card
We are pleased to offer an online payment option for anyone wishing to pay their bill with a credit card.
Paying in-person at the Finance window
The CHEO Finance window is open Monday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
We are located on the 1st Floor, main hallway - room 1176A. Visit the Maps and locations page for more information.
Ambulance charges
The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care sets a charge of $240 for using an ambulance. This amount is reduced to $45 if you are:
- A resident of Ontario with a valid Ontario Health Card, and
- The ambulance was medically necessary (usually determined by the attending physician).
If you are not an insured resident, or if using the ambulance was not medically necessary, CHEO is required to charge you the full $240.

In-person
If you would like to pay your bill in person, please visit our Finance window which is located on the first floor of the main Campus.
Holiday notice: The Finance window will be closed on Thursday, December 26th for the Statutory holiday.
Our finance window is open 2 days a week:
- Mondays: 8am to 3pm
- Thursdays: 8am to 3pm
Please note, that if there is a statutory holiday on the Monday, our finance window will be open on the Tuesday and Thursday of that week.
