To meet the needs of students with special needs, schools like the CHEO School — that provide vital health-care services as part of a child’s school day — will resume in-person learning starting Wednesday, January 5. The CHEO School provides supports including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech-Language Pathology as part of our student’s school day — these supports are essential for their life-long development and while some of these services can be delivered virtually, many need to be delivered in-person.
CHEO Preschool resumes in-person on Tuesday, January 4 for the same reasons.
Critical classroom supports offered as part of the CHEO Autism Program will resume in-person on January 4.
Schooling for CHEO mental health patients through Section 23 McHugh will be offered virtually for next two weeks, as directed by the provincial government.
