Nov. 18, 2024, Ottawa, Ont. - CHEO now offers specialized services for children, youth and families at the Aline-Chrétien Health Hub in Orléans.
As one of ten partner organizations and service providers at the Aline-Chrétien Health Hub, clinicians from CHEO will provide social work, child development, mental health and school-based rehabilitation services at the facility on Mer Bleue Road.
This makes it easier for families living in nearby communities to attend appointments and access care.
“CHEO is excited to be joining the Aline-Chrétien Health Hub and provide care to children, youth, and families living in east Ottawa. We know that families value being able to access care close to home, and we are looking forward to seeing kids and families in this fantastic space,” said Jennifer Proulx, CHEO Vice President, Child Development & Community Services.
“We’re happy to welcome CHEO to the Aline-Chrétien Health Hub, allowing this unique and innovative model to expand its service offerings to include additional specialized care for children, youth and families in Ottawa’s east end,” said Valérie Dubois Desroches, Senior Vice-President, Patient Care, at Hôpital Montfort.
In the coming months, CHEO and Montfort will continue to seek opportunities to expand pediatric care services in Ottawa’s east end.
