Earlier today, 215 orange ribbons were attached to trees in CHEO’s Butterfly Garden, our special memorial garden for children who have died. In this way, the CHEO community honours the lives of the 215 children whose bodies were found in a mass grave at the Kamloops residential school. We express sadness and solidarity with their families, communities and the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation.
