CHEO celebrates International Women’s Day with meet-and-greet

OTTAWA (ONTARIO), March 6, 2020 — A group of female staff from across CHEO will participate in an informal meet-and-greet with fellow staff, children, youth and families as part of International Women’s Day (March 8). These women were all nominated by our community and staff members because they inspire others. This year’s group includes researchers, family advisory council members, nurses, physicians and food service workers.

Partial CHEO slowdown December 24 to January 1

While you can get urgent help at CHEO any day of the year, we do have a partial slowdown for a few days over the holiday season. Our Emergency Department and all urgent and essential services are open, but for a few days each December/January, non-urgent clinic appointments and elective surgeries are deferred and our administrative services are closed. This cost-containment strategy allows us to better serve you throughout the year.
